Indian Relationship or Dictatorship?

India is mostly a patriarchal society, leaving only a few parts of it. Indian people believe in maintaining a relationship no matter how toxic it turns. Here, in the country relationships are more about caring about others, saving the family, following the old traditions and more, this toxicity can be rather considered a dictatorship instead of naming “relationship”. I am not talking only about the romantic relationship of the partners but you can consider it to be the overall idea of every relationship.

Parents-Children Relationship:

In India, people have this idea that adults are always right and younger are always wrong about their ideas, decisions and assumptions. So, while jumping to any conclusion we discuss everything, just to understand that parents are always right because they have seen the world. If you are someone staying in a big family then you will surely understand that your so-called smart parents are still fooled by many. However, as their child, you can’t help them with your ideas because you are too young for that!

Teacher-Student Relationship:

Well, when it comes to teachers, you will have to respect them no matter how ill-mannered they are. Because here in the country, Teachers are considered to be the “Gurus”. These Gurus at times are so toxic, that they only consider intelligent students to be adding value to society. If there is any student who prefers going for sports rather than studies, then he is definitely a spoiled brat.

Couple Relationships:

If you are married, and your relationship is turning then you are expected to have a baby to destroy your life along with your child. If your partner cheats on you, go for a second chance for the sake of your family. And if you have a toxic son or daughter, get them married to a good person from the opposite gender. So, that they can turn into a good person.

In-Laws Relationships:

Most of the time, in-laws just hate each other for no valid reason. However, you need to keep your in-laws satisfied and happy by simply faking in front of each other. This applies to both men and women. Switch on to the Indian Television Shows and you will find the same toxic relationship there.

So, everything about Indian relationships is just toxic and irritating, but then you can’t get out of the circle if you are Indian too. British left India but left the western culture dictatorship, which you will find in every household, office and street. Would you like to mention any such toxic relationship?
