Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy A05 in the second week of October, and recently leaked information has given us a glimpse of what we can expect from the smartphone. The leaked schematics show that the A05 will have two rear cameras, while the A05s will have three. The device was also spotted in a Google Play Console listing, which confirmed that it will feature a waterdrop notch design and a dual rear camera setup. Today, some renders that look like they could be official promo images for the A05 have been outed, showing the device in all the colors it will be sold

The leaked renders reveal that the handset will sport a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and an 8 MP selfie snapper. The device will have a 6.7" HD+ screen, 4/6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, and a 5,000 mAh battery. According to the source of today’s leak, the battery will support 25W charging, and not 15W like previously rumored.

The device is likely using the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, as revealed by a Geekbench run in early August. The chipset is an octa-core (2 GHz, Dual Core + 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core) and is expected to provide fast performance. The phone will also be able to handle gaming, but how well it can game remains to be seen.

The Samsung Galaxy A05 is expected to be a mid-range smartphone with decent specs and features. The device will have a bigger screen and faster performance than its predecessor, the Galaxy A02. The 50 MP main camera is a significant upgrade from the 13 MP camera on the A02, and the 5,000 mAh battery is also an improvement. The fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button is a convenient feature, and the headphone jack is a welcome addition for those who prefer wired headphones.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A05 is shaping up to be a solid mid-range smartphone with decent specs and features. The leaked information has generated a lot of buzz around the device, and it will be interesting to see how it performs in the market. With its bigger screen, faster performance, and improved camera and battery, the Galaxy A05 is expected to be a popular choice among consumers looking for a mid-range smartphone.
