What’s Wrong with the Indian Society?

Everyone has their own life, their own philosophy, and their understanding of certain things. As individuals, most often we believe that our thinking and understanding are the most appropriate result. But, people make mistakes, and they feel different emotions. So everything is a complete mixture, and in the process, people start acting in different ways and get involved in different situations and circumstances. Now, every society has been polluted with some or different kinds of toxic acceptance and behavior.

Wherever you go, whichever part you go to, you will find some or other kinds of gossip, which people are enjoying and are surely adding their points to it. Here, Chinese whisper has become a thing for the countryman! Humans here find it really difficult to accept the troubles and issues of other people. Now, this lack of understanding creates a more fearful situation in society.

What are the Troubles Faced by the Indian Society?

1. Here, in the country victims are questioned and judged for falling into the traps of the culprits. Can you just imagine, when a female faces in kind of molestation in the country, they are asked for details? “Where did he touch you?”
2. Here, in the country, people are okay fighting in the name of religion, caste, and class but no one is willing to take a stand for the voiceless and poor.
3. Children here are expected to obey their parents no matter what. They need to follow the profession and stream their parents have chosen for them. So, you are expected to go with the science background if you are someone who has always scored good marks in exams.
4. Here, every female is judged on the basis of the decisions and professions they choose to go for. In order to maintain that good image of a female she has to abide by the toxic rules and regulations.
5. In order to gain respect one needs to get into a rich profession and needs to earn a lot of money to feed their entire family. Every desi household desires to get their daughter married to a guy, who is doing a private job.

Why are these Issues so Normal in India?

People Pleasing: Every countryman here is more focused to present themselves as an honorable man to society and plans to continue with that. For example, Couples from different religions, castes, and classes are not accepted by the family! Because “Society won’t accept them”.

Got Used to It: Humans made it so normal that now no one talks about it as an issue but rather believes it to be normal. Anything, which is done against society’s acceptance is considered to be a crime. For example Same-sex marriage

Not Educated About the Issues: Why even today people find it difficult to talk about sexual life, problems, and periods of health? Can you remember how our biology teacher used to skip those important biology lessons, girls are taught to hide their periods and stain. Sex education is still taboo in the country.

For things that aren’t normal maybe we as an individual can also take a step against them. We are definitely shaping the future of tomorrow, and need to take a step soon to make the coming times peaceful and worthy for the next generation. Let’s normalize the normal and ignore and kick off whatever is toxic for society.
